Manure

A pure form of fertilizer, manure is collected straight from the hen house. It’s mixed with straw and pine chips.
Delaware Crossing Farm only sells poultry manure in its dry form from our organic, allergen-free fed birds. We do not add anything to our manure.

Makeup: Dry poultry manure, pine chips, straw
Properties: High in nitrogen and phosphorus
Uses: Fertilizing gardens, vegetables, and fields.
Cost: 1 yard of chicken compost – $5 per yard
